Error: You Cannot View The List of Users...(due to inactive server).
Error:
You Cannot View The List of Users at This Time. Please Try Again Later.
Cause:
The list of users may not be available if the authenticating server is not active on the network or cannot be found because the user-level access control is configured incorrectly.
Solution:
Correctly configure user-level access control.
1) Check with your network administrator to make sure the appropriate server is active on the network, and then do one of the following:
a) If the server is active and functioning properly, then do the following to check your user-level access control settings:
1] Click the 'Start' button to display the 'Start' menu.
2] Select 'Settings' and select 'Control Panel'. (The 'Control Panel' window appears.)
'Control Panel'
3] Select 'Network'. (The 'Network' dialog box appears.)
'Network' icon
4] Click the 'Access Control' tab.
5] In the 'Obtain list of users and groups from' box, type the name of the workgroup or domain you want to use to list names.
6] Click 'OK'.
b) If the server is inactive or is not functioning properly, then refer to your network administrator, to a qualified computer technician, or to next-level support.
